Manager: Ship fired on by Iranians in Gulf says 23 crew onboard unhurt, no serious damage

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – The manager of a Singapore-flagged commercial tanker that was fired on by an Iranian naval patrol in the Persian Gulf the previous day says no one onboard was hurt and the ship did not sustain serious damage.

Ship manager Transpetrol said in a statement Friday that the Alpine Eternity is now berthed in Dubai's Jebel Ali port, and that the 23 crew members are uninjured.
