(TRNS) – A 20-year-old Missouri man has been arrested in last week’s shooting of two St. Louis County police officers. Police said Sunday that the reported shooter, Jeffrey Williams, has admitted he fired the shots that struck two officers in Ferguson but claimed he wasn’t aiming for them.
County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch said Williams has been charged with two counts of assault in the first degree, one count of firing a weapon from a vehicle and three counts of armed criminal action.
