LONDON — British police on Thursday arrested a man on suspicion of murdering a police officer who was killed while on duty outside the Libyan Embassy in London 31 years ago.
Police officer Yvonne Fletcher, 26, was shot from inside the embassy as demonstrators were fired upon during a protest against the country's leader Moammar Gadhafi in April 1984.
