Love is a verb. I'm sure of this. And because love is a verb -- an act of doing, a state of being -- we're meant to focus on the loving, as opposed to waiting around for the being loved. I believe that every person has an innate capacity to love, to be the ultimate lover of our world and the people in it. For me, it is the reason for living. No matter what you believe, to which pantheon you may subscribe, or to whatever philosophies you hold in your heart, love is a sense of purpose, a gift bestowed upon us all by that moment when order was born from chaos and we became.
