Actress Luise Rainer, who was the first actress to win back-to-back Academy Awards for Best Actress ("The Great Ziegfeld," 1937, and "The Good Earth," 1938), has died. She was 104.
The German-born star died at her London home on Tuesday following a battle with pneumonia.
