Hybrid and battery-electric cars have been in focus in the public eye lately. Tesla makes battery-electric cars trendy and luxurious, while older model hybrids become reliable family cars. Switching an entire nation’s fleet to low-carbon emissions vehicles would require a logistical overhaul, but it might be worth it.
