Los Angeles ends Dispute with Owens Valley

Los Angeles has ended a feud over water and dust with Owens Valley on Friday. According to agreement between the city and Owens Valley air quality regulators, new organic method for suppressing airborne dust from the dry bed of Owens Lake will be used by Los Angeles.

Finally, the new method will save enough water for the Department of Water and Power (DWP) to cater to water demands of 150,000 Los Angeles residents each year.
