Local hospitals ready in face of new CDC guidelines for Ebola - WCIV-TV

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Less than a week after the state's top health officials and local doctors discussed dealing with Ebola cases, the Centers for Disease Control has released new guidelines.

The new CDC regulations pertaining to Ebola are more strict, requiring a 'site manager' to supervise workers that will now have full body coverage including hoods that protect the wearer's neck, double gloves, a face shield, respirator, and waterproof apron.
