Liquid Carbon dioxide oceans could have existed on Venus in the past

Venus has harsh atmosphere full of but . In a new study published in The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, the research team has suggested that Venus could have been once covered by oceans that had liquid form of carbon dioxide.

According to Discovery News, the research was conducted this summer. Scientists have found that Venus may have had enough water in its atmosphere at one point to cover the entire planet in an ocean about 80 feet deep.
