TRIPOLI, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- Libyan national army's warplanes on Monday bombed Mitiga airport in Tripoli, causing all internal and international flights to suspend, according to military sources.

The airstrikes on the crucial air hub aimed to cut off " terrorist force Libya Dawn" from supplies, air force commander Brigadier Saqr Jeroshi said, adding that Libya's western and eastern sky is now fully secured by the national army's jets.
