Leonid Meteor Shower to Reach its Peak Monday Night and Tuesday Morning

The Leonid meteor shower, which runs annually from November 6 to 30, will be at its peak from Monday night to Tuesday morning.

It is a fall meteor shower that happens when earth passes through dust grains left by comet Tempel-Tuttle. As per astronomers, this year's shower would be a modest one, producing 10-15 meteors per hour.
