At least six people were killed Monday after a bomb exploded on a bus carrying United Nations employees in a semi-autonomous region of northern Somalia.

Col. Ali Salad, a senior police officer in the Puntland region, told the Associated Press by phone that both foreigners and Somalis were killed by the blast in the town of Garowe.
