Leadership Lessons From The People's Climate March

She walked mostly unnoticed down the westside of Manhattan, a relatively anonymous face among the 400,000 or so in Sunday’s “People’s Climate March.” Her name is Kelly Rigg. She was the Executive Director of the Global Call for Climate Action (GCCA) until recently, and a long-time environmental activist (as well as being a friend of mine for more than 30 years). Few walking near her on Sunday knew that without her vision and leadership there might not have been any march at all, at least not one of this size.
