CHISINAU, Moldova – The leaders of Ukraine, Poland and Moldova have met over concerns about Russian influence in separatist eastern Ukraine and fears that Russia may seek to meddle in Moldova's general election.
The three countries' leaders — Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski and Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti — said Thursday that both Ukraine and Moldova should continue their pro-European paths.
