Lawsuit claims 83 out of 1,306 cheap wines contain arsenic, winemakers disagree

A lawsuit has been filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court by four separate wine consumers from Southern California, claiming that many cheap wines contain healthy amounts of arsenic that are dangerous for human health and should not be consumed.

According to the lawsuit, about 1,306 brands of cheap wine were analyzed with 83 of them found to contain levels of arsenic that are above the regulated standard.
