Large Hadron Collider to restart this spring

After hiatus of two years, CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC) particle accelerator will restart this spring. CERN scientists are quite excited that soon the LHC will again start and they are expecting better results from a more powerful particle accelerator.

During the two-year-long close down, engineers and technicians were involved in the repair work of the LHC so that it can fire with around double the energy in comparison to its past run.
