Lake eyed for restoration of cutthroat trout

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Montana officials are considering adding Koessler Lake as part of an effort to remove non-native species and restore westslope cutthroat trout.

The Missoulian reports ( in a story on Friday that the state Fish, Wildlife and Parks Commission might add the lake as part of its cutthroat-trout project in the Bob Marshall Wilderness.
