Lafayette rapper gets 16-year sentence on unusual charge

A Lafayette rapper received a 16-year sentence on an unusual conviction holding him responsible for the 2012 shooting death of a 43-year-old man, although he didn't pull the trigger.

The Advocate (http://bit.ly/1Qosb2R ) reports Eric Johnson was sentenced Tuesday. In March, Johnson was found guilty of inciting a riot of death, provoking retaliatory violence leading to Ray Ryan's killing at a Duson apartment complex in May 2012.
