It's not often that a fictional character appears on a late-night talk show to promote a real-life actress playing a different fictional character. But that's what happened on Wednesday night, when Daenerys Targaryen, a.k.a. Khaleesi, a.k.a. Kristen Wiig, stopped by "The Tonight Show" to chat with Jimmy Fallon about Wiig's new movie, "Welcome to Me."
Wiig appeared in costume as the Mother of Dragons from HBO's hit series "Game of Thrones"; she even brought her own fake dragon to perch on her shoulder. But, strangely, Fallon insisted on referring to her by the Dothraki word "Khaleesi," which means queen. Maybe she couldn't be "Daenerys" for copyr...
