U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is meeting Monday with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif as a deadline looms for a long-term agreement on Iran's nuclear program.
A senior State Department official said the purpose of the meeting in Vienna is "to see if progress can be made," and that Kerry wanted to have an in-depth discussion to gauge how willing Iran is to "make the critical choices it needs to make."
