This is it, everyone—take this image in. Really live with it. The way her cascading locks shine in the light, the dramatic blast of pink on the perfectly tailored coat, the glint in her eyes that seems to say, “You can tell me anything.” Yes, this it the last time we’ll be seeing Kate Middleton until after she has given birth to her second child, due in mid- to late April. How we will get through April without seeing Kate is a question we do not have a good answer for: you could try dyeing an egg pink and placing a small “tiara” on it (made out of a silver pipe cleaner), and then putting it on your desk at work and saying things to it like, “I’ll be O.K. if you have a boy, obviously, but I just really hope it’s a girl,” or “Just tell me one thing about Harry that no one knows and then I’ll leave you alone.” That could help.
Kate’s pink coat is by Mulberry, and she previously wore it in New York in December, for her visit to the 9/11 Memorial. (Us Weekly notes that she must have had the coat tailored since then, as “the non-maternity piece hugged her bump without creating a single crease.”)
