Judge considers order to remove activist on drill ship

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A federal judge did not make an immediate decision on Royal Dutch Shell’s request to remove six Greenpeace protesters from a vessel carrying a Shell drill ship across the Pacific Ocean.

On Monday, six Greenpeace activists boarded the Blue Marlin, which is delivering the Arctic drill ship Polar Pioneer for staging in the Seattle area. The six boarded the ship when it was about 750 miles northwest of Hawaii, and said they have provisions for several days.
