The joys of “Parenthood”

When a real estate agent first showed my wife Liz and I what would eventually become our new home, we stopped on the massive flagstone patio. “I just had a Braverman Moment,” I said. Liz glowed. “Me too! I just imagined having large family dinners here with tiny white lights on the pine trees.” It seemed as if we were following in the footsteps of—better yet, moving next door to—the Bravermans, our favorite family.
