The Hobbit star Luke Evans, 35, was in 2013 cast as main character Eric Draven, a musician and dark superhero with goth makeup who is hell-bent on avenging the death of his lady love. In January, The Wrap reported that he had exited the project, following the replacement of director F. Javier Gutierrez with Corin Hardy. Evans was recently cast in Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast.
So who's taking his place in The Crow? On Saturday, the website Dreadcentral.com quoted James O'Barr, creator of the comic book series on which the franchise is based, as saying that "Jack Huston has definitely been cast," in the remake, which "will shoot in a couple of months."
