ISRO releases picture of comet Siding Spring taken by Mars Orbiter

Indian space agency ISRO has released images of Comet Siding Spring taken by its Mars Orbiter last month. Comet Siding Spring is distant comet that created once-in-eight-million-year fireworks show above Mars last month. This image was taken on October 19 when ISRO's Mars Orbiter had the opportunity to witness the Comet Siding Spring’s close approach to Mars. Beside the image, the Mars orbiters were able to capture valuable information about the comet’s composition, size, and trajectory.
