Israeli spokesman says framework deal on Iran's nuclear program leads in 'dangerous direction'

JERUSALEM – Israel's government spokesman says a preliminary agreement on Iran's nuclear program is a "step in a very, very dangerous direction," arguing that it leaves Tehran with an expansive nuclear infrastructure.

Mark Regev said Friday that the understandings reached a day earlier between Iran and six world powers give "legitimacy to Iran's nuclear program and the sole purpose of that program is to get nuclear weapons."
