IOM Accepts Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as Real Disease

A medical panel has announced that the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome has been given a new name, ‘Systematic Exertion Intolerance Disease’ (SEID). The panel from the Institute of Medicine (IOM) has also accepted it as a real disease. IOM is a nonprofit organization that advices government on issues regarding health and medicine.

As per experts, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is not the result of modern hysteria. Rather it is an unfortunate condition that makes a person feel tired, sleepless, sluggish and very lethargic.
