Investment adviser from N.J. charged in $20 million fraud

An investment adviser from Livingston has been charged with defrauding clients out of $20 million while working at JP Morgan Chase, according to the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York and published reports.

Michael Oppenheim, 48, has been charged with embezzlement, wire fraud, securities fraud and investment advisor fraud carried out over the course of four years.
