COVINGTON- A USDA investigator, looking into a bacterial infection in two animals at the Tulane National Primate Research Center, has possibly contracted the bacteria.

Eyewitness News reported last month that the center, which focuses on researching infectious diseases, discovered Whitmore's disease in two of its 4,000 primates in November.
