“Scott County is dealing with a HIV epidemic, however this is not a problem only for Scott County; it is a problem for Indiana,” Pence specified. “The citizens of Scott County are striving to resolve the crisis, and with extra state resources, new methods and tools supplied by the emergency declaration, I am positive that together we can stop the HIV breakout in its first tracks.”

The HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) attacks a person’s body immune system and ultimately leads to Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
