INFECTIOUS MOSQUITOES: Warmer temperatures could see them bringing 'exotic diseases' to the UK

Infectious mosquitoes could be heading to the UK within the next couple of decades as temperatures look set to increase.

The mosquitoes, which would carry diseases such as dengue and chikungunya, respond to the slightest climate change – and if temperatures increase by just a couple of degrees in southern England then it could become a viable habitat for them.
