India: Gunmen Attack Air Base

At least four gunmen entered an Indian Air Force base near the border with Pakistan on Saturday morning and exchanged fire with the security forces, officials said.

At least two of the attackers were killed and the security forces were exchanging fire with the others, an air force spokeswoman, Rochelle D’Silva, said. The gunmen entered the living quarters area of the base in Pathankot, about 265 miles north of New Delhi, but they were not able to reach the zone...
