Utah saw an improvement in air quality for 2014. After stricter air pollution controls and an increase in storms, the air quality improved over the past year. The state is also putting $1 million toward more research.
The Utah Department of Environmental Quality issued its year-end report Monday, offering a retrospective of the varied accomplishments — and challenges — it encountered during 2014.
