Audiences received a small taste of Benedict Cumberbatch's starring role in The Imitation Game this holiday weekend. And they liked it very much.

The Weinstein Company film shot to a $482,000 total over the Thanksgiving weekend in just four theaters. The $120,000 per theater opening is the second-highest mark this year, behind Wes Anderson's Grand Budapest Hotel, which checked in with $203,000 per theater in its spring release.
