Ill traveler won't be sent to New Brunswick hospital designated for Ebola patients

A health worker who came in contact with Ebola patients in Sierra Leone and had been ill on a flight into Newark Liberty International Airport will not be transferred to a New Brunswick hospital, the only one designated to treat Ebola patients after they are diagnosed.

The female patient remains at Hackensack University Medical Center, where she is being evaluated, but is not expected at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
