Ibuprofen proves to be a great alternative to morphine for children with fractures

Children can endure pain when suffering from bone fractures with ibuprofen which could prove to be a better replacement than morphine according to new research on the subject.

With reference to administration of oral morphine in acute pain management, Dr. Naveen Poonai, study author and researcher in Ontario said: “Additional studies are needed to address this gap in knowledge and provide a scientific basis for outpatient analgesic choices in children.”
