IBM Receives Massive Project From DOE

Talk about a shot in the arm. Despite its recent struggles, IBM has just landed a massive contract from the United States Department of Energy worth upwards of $325 million. The agreement is for IBM to provide a supply of supercomputers for the department.

IBM was not alone in the deal. IBM will be partnering with Mellanox and Nvidia to provide the federal government with the tools necessary to process the massive amounts of data required to conducted national security procedures.
