Human Population Growth Endangering African Lions

A new ruling in the United States might protect lions in Africa—thousands of miles from the nearest U.S. coastline. While these animals are certainly not native to North America, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service declared that the species may be added to the Endangered Species Act, and that affects the whole world.
