Human activities pushing Earth to edge of danger zone

Human activities have pushed Earth to a point signaling danger for life around the planet, according to a new study by an international group of scientists.

In 2010, a group of thirty scientists from across the world developed a list of 9 environmental processes essential for the long-term survival of humans. To develop the system, they integrated acceptable levels of ocean acidity, stratospheric ozone, and atmospheric aerosol concentrations.
