Since 1874, 32,908 sunspots have been observed by research teams. AR 2192, the 33rd largest sunspot, keeps on rotating but has now moved to a point which cannot be seen from our planet.
Scientists have been observing the sunspot for 24 years as it continues to generate solar fares. Since the time it faced the Earth, the AR2192 had produced four solar major flares and various minor flares.
