KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Protesters demanding the resignation of Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak over a financial scandal remained on the streets of the capital Sunday, after the first day of the massive rally passed peacefully despite police warnings that the gathering was illegal.
