Hotline launched to answer Ohioans’ questions about Ebola

As news spread that a nurse who spent time in Ohio later tested positive for Ebola, so did fear of the deadly disease. In response, the Ohio Department of Health launched a 24-hour-a-day call center to answer residents’ questions about the virus.

People may call 866-800-1404 with general inquiries and concerns regarding the virus or the events that unfolded Wednesday. A nurse, who tested positive late Tuesday, was visiting family in Summit County between Oct. 10 and Oct. 13, according to the Ohio Department of Health.
