High-resolution Swarm results reveal how Earth’s changing magnetism

According to a report from the European Space Agency, the first collection of high-resolution results from the agency’s three-satellite Swarm constellation illustrates the latest changes in Earth’s magnetic field. According to Georgia State University, the Earth’s magnetic field is attributed to a dynamo effect of circulating electric current, but it is not constant in direction.
