Houstonians planning to close on a house today likely will be delayed either because business offices are closed or because the properties themselves have been flooded, said Mark Woodroof, partner at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate - Gary Greene.
The rain and floods will keep most buyers and real estate agents at home so new contracts are unlikely until the weather clears. Woodroof said all of his company's offices are closed today.
