Health spending growth slows down ACA putting into practice

Overall healthcare spending growth slowed down after the ACA implementation. The health care spending reached $2.9 trillion in 2013, which is $9,255 per person. According to new report by the office of the Actuary at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid service (CMS), though healthcare spending increase by 3.6% last year still one and half percent lower than 2012. According to CMS annual growth rate is hovering around 3.6% to 4.1% for last five years.

The experts are saying that this lower growth rate match with the overall economic condition. According to the report lessened private insurance and spending in medicine contributed in the slowdown.
