Health experts debate the ban or regulation of e-cigarettes

Leading health experts from around the world sat through an anti-tobacco summit in Abu Dhabi on Friday and debated the approval, regulation, and ban of e-cig devices against the background that it encourages children and non-smokers to take up smoking, increasing the risk of nicotine addiction.

A researcher from the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Centre in Atens, Konstantinos Farsalinos, stated that a recent study including 19,500 people in the United States and Europe revealed that about 81% of the participants stopped smoking mainly by using e-cigarettes.
