Harvard Researchers get one step closer to completing Robotic Suit, win $2.9m Contract

Harvard researchers have gained a significant boost to accomplish the goal of developing a robotic suit that can be an aid for soldiers to travel farther, conserve energy and carry heavy loads without losing much of their stamina.

A $2.9 million contract has been grabbed by the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard to keep up the work on the 'Soft Exosuit', a wearable robot that facilitates ambulation. The contract has been awarded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
