Harder, Longer! Rigorous physical activity key to boosting to longevity

A team of Australian researchers found that middle-aged or older people who get at least some high-intensity rigorous exercise may reduce their chances of dying early by up to 13 percent.

The new large study in JAMA Internal Medicine suggests that indeed vigorous exercise, regardless of body weight or chronic disease status, can reduce early mortality significantly.
