Apparel maker HanesBrands announced that Chief Operating Officer Gerald Evans Jr. will take over as CEO, replacing current Chairman and CEO Richard Noll, who will become executive chairman. The switch becomes effective on Oct. 1.
Evans, 57, was also appointed to the company's board of directors, which expands to 11 members.
