The Off-Broadway production at the Public's Newman Theater, which has been given numerous extensions through May 3, opened to critical acclaim Feb. 17. Despite buzz that the musical would cancel its extension and take the Richard Rodgers (after If/Then plays its final performance March 22), producers, creatives and cast members have remained silent.

Representatives for The Public Theater sent out an email invitation to the press Feb. 23, inviting them to a "special gathering to celebrate this new musical" Feb. 24 at 3 PM in The Public Theater lobby at 425 Lafayette Street.
